This policy explains what information we collect through the app, why, and how it's protected.

Account information — the email, password, and company name/logo you provide when you sign up.

Business data you enter — film catalog entries, categories, and any client, producer, deal, contract, or royalty report data you add to run your own business through the app. This is your data; we store it on your behalf to provide the service.

Uploaded files — contracts and agency agreements you upload for AI-assisted extraction are stored in private, access-controlled storage tied to your account.

Usage and log data — standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps, error logs) generated automatically by our hosting provider to keep the service running and secure.

We use the information above only to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the app for your account
• Auto-fill film data (title, poster, cast, synopsis) from third-party film databases when you search or import
• Extract structured deal terms from contracts you upload, using AI
• Respond to support requests and important account notices
• Detect, prevent, and fix technical or security issues

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to serve ads.

To run the app, certain data passes through these service providers, each acting on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
• Vercel — application hosting
• The Movie Database (TMDB) and Tavily — film search and metadata lookup (only the search terms you enter are sent)
• Anthropic (Claude API) — extracts structured data from contracts and imported pages you choose to submit

None of these providers are permitted to use your business data for their own purposes.

Every account's data is isolated at the database level — one company's films, clients, contracts, and deals are never visible to another account, enforced by database access rules, not just app-level checks. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Uploaded contracts and agreements are stored in private file storage accessible only to your account.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, contact us at the email below and we will delete your business data within a reasonable time, except where we're required to retain records by law.

You can access, correct, export, or delete the data in your account at any time through the app, or by contacting us. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we hold about you and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information, so there is no need to opt out of a sale.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the UK, we process your personal data under the following legal bases: performance of our contract with you (running your account), our legitimate interest in operating and improving the app, and compliance with legal obligations where applicable.

Under the GDPR, you additionally have the right to:

• Restrict or object to how we process your data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable, machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority

We are a US company, so using the app involves transferring your data to the United States. Our hosting and storage providers (Supabase, Vercel) apply industry-standard safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses, for this transfer. We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

This app is a business tool intended for professional use and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, anyone under 18.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email.
